    What's the story

India's problems don't seem to cease, in the ongoing series, against England.

Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who aggravated a lower-back injury during the third ODI at Headingley, was kept out of the squad for the first three Tests.

Kumar was supposed to join the squad for the fourth Test but he hasn't recovered completely. He will most likely miss the remaining matches.

    Here're further details.

    Rehab

After performing well in the South Africa series, Kumar has been riddled by injuries and aggravated it further during the third ODI.

Currently, the pacer is undergoing a rehabilitation program at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

However, the team management has confirmed that Jasprit Bumrah, who was also out owing to injuries, has been declared fit.

He might feature in the third Test.

    Lord's 2014

Kumar was instrumental in India's second ever victory at Lord's

During India's 2014 tour of England, Dhoni and his team defeated the Englishmen for the second time in history at Lord's.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar had a major part to play in the match which was his debut at the iconic stadium.

Kumar snatched up 6/82 in England's first innings, getting his name on the Honors Board and helping India clinch a victory by 95 runs.

    Meeting

Team and management had a discussion after Lord's defeat

It has been reported that senior members of the Indian team and the management had a meeting on how to proceed after the humiliating defeat at Lord's.

The team has been asked to treat the series as a 3-match affair and perform to their best, forgetting the past two defeats.

An official said, "We've agreed that we messed up in Lord's and got outplayed".
