    What's the story

Brazil coach Tite has raised concerns about his star player Neymar's fitness.

Tite stated that the fleet-footed forward is not 100% fit at the moment.

However, he did mention the 26-year-old will play 'some part' in the opening fixture against Switzerland.

The 5-time World Cup winners Brazil start their 2018 campaign tonight at Rostov Arena.

    Quote

Neymar not at 100% but good enough to play

"He is not 100 per cent at the moment but he has exceptional physical qualities, his speed in particular. He is always quick and he hasn't lost that speed, but he is not at 100 per cent." Brazil coach said.

    No stopping him

Neymar made a successful comeback in the friendlies

The world's most expensive player, Neymar suffered an ankle injury, in February 2018, while playing for Paris Saint-Germain in the Ligue 1.

Neymar missed the rest of the season as his foot needed a surgery.

However, he made a comeback for Brazil's two warm-up games and even found the back of the net in the friendly against Croatia.

Tite has turned Brazil into a top side

Brazil's last World Cup match was a disaster as they lost 7-1 to Germany in the semi-final.

However, they have recovered well since then.

Under Tite's reign, Brazil have lost just one out of their 21 matches.

They became the first team to book a spot in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Tite's men are expected to come on field with all guns blazing.

    Information

Fred is the only one to miss out for Brazil

Manchester United's new signing Fred is set to miss out on the fixture against Switzerland as he is still recovering from his ankle injury. Brazil have been pitted in an easy group along side Costa Rica, Switzerland and Serbia.
