Good news for Brazil, Neymar is recovering faster than expected
According to the physical trainer of the Brazil national team, superstar Neymar Jr. is recovering from his injury faster than expected. He has been training with the national team ahead of the World Cup in Russia. Neymar was sidelined for more than 2 months after suffering a broken foot while playing for PSG. He had to undergo a surgery to fix his condition.
Neymar returns to training with Brazil national team
The Paris Saint-Germain striker is currently training in Teresopolis, near Rio de Janeiro. Team doctor claims the 26-year-old has regained his usual movements. The next step for Neymar would be to participate in full group training sessions before playing an actual game of football. The FIFA World Cup 2018 is scheduled to start from June 14 onwards.
Trainer surprised by Neymar's development
"He has evolved well. He trains every day. I could even say that his development is better than expected," the trainer, Fabio Mahseredjian said.
Hoping to get 100% fit before the World Cup
Fully-fit Neymar is essential to Brazil's success in the upcoming World Cup. He will be hoping to get match fit before Brazil open their campaign against Switzerland on June 17. The fleet-footed forward will have a chance to test his fitness when Brazil take on Croatia in a friendly on June 3. It would be followed by a match against Austria on June 10.
