What's the story

The world's most expensive footballer Neymar took to social media to post pictures of himself sporting the 2018-19 Paris St Germain home jersey.

This move comes amid growing speculation about his future.

Reports were rife that Neymar was keen on parting ways with the French Champions but these images could prove those reports wrong.

Transfer battle

Real Madrid dealt blow as Neymar seems happy at PSG

Media reports had claimed that the 26-year-old, who joined PSG from Barcelona for a world record €222 million, was keen on parting ways with the club just after spending one season in Paris.

Neymar wanted to move back to La Liga and Spanish giants Real Madrid could have been his likely destination.

Expensive signing

Only few clubs can afford Neymar's astronomical fees

Neymar has had a fantastic season since joining PSG scoring 28 goals and 16 assists before injury forced him to be on the sidelines.

As per reports in Spain, Neymar's father has told PSG that his son wants to leave immediately and more reports claim that his father has met Real Madrid directors in December to negotiate a move.

Information

Neymar launched Barca's kit before moving to PSG

For now, PSG directors can sleep well after Neymar pledged his loyalty with his post but we suggest fans not to read too much into it. Last summer, Neymar was a part of Barcelona's kit launch, but still, he moved to PSG.

FFP limits

PSG could be forced into selling Neymar

PSG are likely to fail Financial Fair Play limit.

The French Champions had to make up for the losses on the money they spent on Neymar before being pulled up by the UEFA.

Not meeting the Financial Fair Play could force UEFA to kick PSG out of the Champions League.

They were found guilty in 2014 but got away by paying a fine.
