Shakib Al Hasan impressed for Bangladesh in their second successive match of the 2019 World Cup. The all-rounder slammed a 68-ball 64 and registered his second fifty in CWC 19. Shakib now has 44 career ODI fifties. He also smashed his fourth ODI fifty in 2019. This was Shakib's seventh fifty in World Cup and he extended his runs tally to 679.

Mushfiqur Rahim (19) became the second Bangladeshi cricketer to surpass the 600-run mark in Cricket World Cup (607). Tamim Iqbal (24) has registered 500-plus runs for Bangladesh in the World Cup. Shakib also picked up two wickets for the Tigers. He now has 252 career ODI wickets. The left-arm spinner also extended his wickets tally to 26 in the World Cup.
Boult second fastest bowler to 150 ODI wickets
Trent Boult (2/44) has taken 24 ODI wickets in 2019 and is the leading the charts. The left-arm pacer now has 25 scalps for New Zealand in the World Cup. Boult now has 150 career ODI wickets in 81 matches. He is now the second fastest bowler to 150 ODI wickets. The swing master became the eight Kiwi bowler to have 150-plus ODI scalps.

Guptill goes past 900 World Cup runs, Henry impresses
Martin Guptill (25) now has 907 runs in the World Cup. He is the third Kiwi batsman to surpass the 900-run mark. Henry became the fifth bowler to take four wickets in an innings in the 2019 World Cup. He also has the fourth best bowling figures in CWC 19. The Kiwi speedster has seven wickets in CWC 19 and leads the show.
Ross Taylor registers a host of feats
Ross Taylor, who is playing his fourth World Cup, was among the runs (82). The veteran batsman became the sixth Kiwi batsman to score 700-plus runs in the World Cup (734). Taylor slammed his fourth fifty in the World Cup. This was also his 48th career ODI fifty. The senior cricketer also registered 1,000-plus career ODI runs versus Bangladesh.
Second successive century-plus stand for Kiwis in CWC 19
Williamson (40) surpassed 400 ODI runs in 2019. The 105-run partnership between Williamson and Taylor was the 29th 100-plus stand for the Kiwis in the World Cup and a second in CWC 19.
How did the match pan out?
Bangladesh got off to a decent start, but the Kiwis gained control after picking up wickets at regular intervals. Several Bangladeshi batsmen got starts, but besides Shakib, nobody else showed the application. Henry in particular was impressive with the ball. In reply, Shakib got both Kiwi openers. Williamson and Taylor did well, but Bangladesh got back with key wickets. It wasn't enough though.
