Latham was superb for NZ as he took the game away with a brilliant display of batting. The senior cricketer smashed 140* from just 123 balls, hitting 10 fours and five sixes. He smashed his sixth ODI century. This is now his best score in ODI cricket. Meanwhile, Latham has raced to 2,972 runs in ODIs at 35.80.
Key feats attained by the Netherlands bowlers
Logan van Beek (4/56) registered his best bowling figures in ODIs. He has 17 scalps now at 27.47. Fred Klaassen (3/36) got the crucial wickets of Martin Guptill and Ross Taylor. He now has 45 wickets in ODIs at 23.00. He is now the ninth-highest wicket-taker for Netherlands in ODI cricket. Pieter Seelar (1/48) has 113 wickets in ODIs for the Dutch.
