ISL 2020-21: Champions Mumbai City FC's campaign in numbers
Mumbai City FC clinched their maiden Indian Super League (ISL) title by beating ATK Mohun Bagan 2-1 on Saturday. Mumbai had earlier secured the ISL Shield along with a spot in the AFC Champions League group stage by finishing first in the standings in the regular season. They had a terrific campaign and reaped the benefits of some superb football on offer.
Mumbai maintain 100% record against ATKMB
The Islanders had earlier beaten ATKMB 1-0 and 2-0 in the league stage. And now, they dished out another win over the Kolkata based side. Notably, both teams finished the regular season with 40 points, which is the joint-highest points tally in the ISL. Earlier, Bengaluru FC had achieved the 40-point mark in the fourth season the ISL.
Mumbai City FC finished first in the league stage
Mumbai City won the league-winners' shield for their achievement this season. They became the second-ever Indian club to qualify to the group stages of the AFC Champions League. By winning their last two league games, including the victory against ATK Mohun Bagan, Mumbai City FC finished with the best goal difference of 17. They registered 12 wins, four draws and four losses.
Mumbai City dominated the numbers in ISL 6
Mumbai City FC registered the most number of goals this season in the ISL (39). Notably, they have also accounted for the most number of passes (11,050) after FC Goa. Mumbai ended with the joint-most number of clean sheets in ISL 6 (10) alongside ATKMB. They led the tally for most number of crosses (322).
Individual stars who delivered the goods for Mumbai City
Mumbai City's Ahmed Jahouh and Rowlin Borges were second and third on the list for the most number of passes this season (1,480 and 1,124). Jahouh registered the highest number of tackles this season (173). Notably, he was the only player with 150-plus tackles in ISL 6. Goal-keeper Amrinder Singh, who registered the joint-highest clean sheets, produced the joint-second highest number of saves (61).

FC Goa forward Igor Angulo won the ISL Golden Boot for netting 14 goals. He was the joint-highest scorer alongside ATKMB's Roy Krishna.
