Arjun Tendulkar takes a five-for for Mumbai in U-19 cricket
Arjun Tendulkar is continuing to make his mark and taking huge strides in cricket. The left-arm pacer was, once again, impressive in his latest outing for Mumbai in the ongoing Vinoo Mankad U-19 ODI tournament. Arjun was in top form and bagged 5 wickets against Gujarat to help his side register a thumping nine-wicket win. Here's more on his performance.
Arjun's 5/30 was decisive for Mumbai
Arjun has been putting up commendable shifts in the recent past. He picked a sensational 5/30 to help his side bowl Gujarat out for a paltry 142. In reply, Mumbai chased down the target with 9 wickets to spare. He ripped apart the Gujarat top order with none of the batsmen applying any resistance. Mumbai openers were then superb in the chase.
Arjun made his India U-19 debut in July
Tendulkar Jr. made his U-19 debut for India when the side toured Sri Lanka for the Youth Test in July. However, the youngster didn't find a spot in the India U-19 squad for the Asia Cup in the month of August. He was not named because of the fact that he will miss the next U-19 World Cup due to his age.
Arjun will be keen to continue his form
The youngster is touted to be a future India star in the making. He is often seen bowling at the nets to the senior men's Indian team. He was in England recently and bowled to Virat Kohli and boys. He will look to continue his exploits for Mumbai in the ongoing tourney. Mumbai face Bengal next, followed by a match against Madhya Pradesh.
