The former has advised the 19-year-old to focus on his lengths and enjoy the Day-Night Test match against Australia. Musa went on to replace sixteen-year-old Naseem Shah in the team. The 19-year-old Musa was delighted to get his cap from Akram saying, "I have received my Test cap from a big player. I will try to fulfil the expectations." He said he will focus on his bowling and will give his best for his team.
Musa part of an exciting and young breed of pacers
Musa is part of a young breed of Pakistan pacers, who have been given the chances to impress of late. When you look at Pakistan, their last four debutants have been fast bowlers. In 2018, Mir Hamza got his Test debut against Australia. Shaheen Afridi also made his debut last year against New Zealand. Recently, 16-year-old Naseem was handed his Test cap against Australia.

A look at Musa's career in cricket
Musa was born on August 28, 2000. He made his List A debut for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited in the 2018-19 Qaide-e-Azam One Day Cup last year. He also made his First-Class debut for the same team. Prior to that, he was named in Pakistan's U-19 World Cup squad. He made his T20 debut for Islamabad United in the 2019 Pakistan Super League.

Musa has claimed 17 First-Class wickets at 37.52. He has seven List A and 12 T20 wickets under his belt. The bowler can bowl fast and has raw energy. However, he can be a bit wayward at times.
