Mourinho keen on remaining ManU boss for a long time
As Manchester United prepare to welcome Arsene Wenger and his Gunners to Old Trafford, manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that he wants to remain a football manager until his late sixties just like his Arsenal counterpart. The Portuguese also admitted that he is keen on being Manchester United's manager for a long time unlike his previous managerial stints.
Mourinho's longest spell has been 3 years with Chelsea
Mourinho's latest statement comes as a shocker to many, as the master-mind's longest managerial stint at any club hasn't been more than 3 years. His first spell at Chelsea was his longest where he lasted three years and three months. Mourinho is keen on signing a contract extension that would see him hold his job till 2020.
Why continue to live out of a hotel?
Despite being keen on remaining Manchester United's manager for a long period, Mourinho hasn't gotten a house for himself in Manchester. He has been at the helm of affairs at Old Trafford for nearly two years now. But the Red Devils' boss continues to live out of a hotel- The Lowry Hotel in Manchester where he reportedly pays £816 per night.
Mourinho hasn't coached in Germany yet?
"I had to go to Italy for sure. I had to go to Spain for sure. At this moment, there isn't anything I have around the corner, waiting because I want to do something different. I don't want to do anything different," Mourinho said.
