The match saw RR leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal concede 62 runs, the most by him in an IPL innings. He was also hit for 6 sixes. It was the second instance of Chahal conceding 6 sixes.
6 sixes: MI vs RCB, IPL 2015
The first instance of Chahal conceding 6 sixes in an IPL innings came nearly a decade ago. His franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru successfully defended 235 by restricting Mumbai Indians to 196/7 at the Wankhede Stadium. Chahal was among the wickets, having dismissed Hardik Pandya and Jagadeesha Suchith. However, the wrist-spinner conceded 51 runs, including 6 sixes.

Chahal dealt with similar blows after nine years, this time in RR colors. He gave 62 runs (6 sixes) as the Orange Army slammed 201/3 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The leg-spinner was also devoid of a wicket. The match also saw Chahal conceding the most runs by an RR bowler in the IPL. He went past Ankit Rajpoot's record (60).

Chahal was once again on the receiving end in the IPL 2018 encounter between MI and RCB at the Wankhede Stadium. The hosts racked up a mammoth 213/6 after being put in to bat. Evin Lewis (65) and Rohit Sharma (94) did the bulk of scoring. Meanwhile, Chahal was struck for 32 runs in three overs (4 sixes). RCB eventually lost by 46 runs.
4 sixes: RCB vs DC, IPL 2014
Chahal conceded 4 sixes in the IPL 2014 match between RCB and Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in Bengaluru. RCB slammed 186/4 on the back of Yuvraj Singh's blistering 29-ball 68*. The hosts later restricted DC to 170/7 and won by 16 runs. However, the DC batters went after Chahal, who conceded the most runs for RCB in the match (45).
