Mohit was brought back in the 16th over, and Pant launched him for two sixes. In the 18th over, Mohit conceded 14 before giving away 31 in the 20th. Pant hit him for 4 sixes and a four.
Basil Thampi: 0/70 vs RCB, 2018
In Delhi, Mohit surpassed Basil Thampi, the only other bowler to have conceded 70 or more runs in an IPL game. Thampi conceded 70 runs without taking a wicket for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 2018 IPL encounter in Bengaluru. The Royal Challengers claimed a 14-run win, defending 218/6. Notably, Thampi conceded 6 sixes and 5 fours.
Yash Dayal: 0/69 vs KKR, 2023
Yash Dayal conceded 69 runs from four overs for GT against Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 13 of IPL 2023. He was on the receiving end as Rinku Singh smacked five successive sixes in the final over. The latter helped the Knights defeat GT by three wickets. KKR needed 28 runs off five balls before Rinku's onslaught powered them.
Reece Topley: 1/68 vs SRH, 2024
RCB's Reece Topley tackled blows against SRH in Match 30 of IPL 2024 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. It was a high-scoring affair as nearly 550 runs were on display. Notably, SRH registered the highest-ever total in IPL history (287/3). Topley, who took the important wicket of Abhishek Sharma, conceded 68 runs, the most by an RCB bowler in the IPL.
