Rajasthan Royals beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Ahmedabad to reach the IPL 2024 Qualifier 2. The Royals successfully chased down 173, with Rovman Powell getting them home. Avesh Khan took three wickets, while Trent Boult and Ravichandran Ashwin bowled economical spells. Boult, who conceded just 16 runs in four overs, bowled the fifth-most economical spell by a seamer in IPL 2024 (minimum three overs).

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: 2/12(4) vs LSG, Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivered the most economical spell by a pacer in IPL 2024. He conceded just 12 runs for two wickets in four overs in the match against Lucknow Super Giants in Hyderabad. The match broke several records as the Orange Army chased down 166 in a mere 9.4 overs without losing a wicket. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma ran riot.

Jasprit Bumrah was at his absolute best in the 2024 IPL season. He gave Gujarat Titans a run for the money in the fifth match in Ahmedabad. Indian pacer Mayank Yadav made waves with his searing pace in his limited IPL 2024 appearances. Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq starred in LSG's four-wicket win over MI at home. The five-time champions scored 144/7 before LSG chased it down in 19.2 overs. Naveen conceded just 15 runs in 3.5 overs while taking the wicket of MI skipper Hardik Pandya. The latter recorded a golden duck. The right-arm pacer impressed with his impeccable line and length in that match.
