I don't want to let anyone down, says Morgan
Morgan said he will make a call after the World T20 and is lucky to lead the side. "I don't want to let anyone down. I want to drive through the WT20 in Australia and then make a call," he said. "We have a special group of players. I feel very lucky to lead that group and I think we can do something special.
Morgan shares his thoughts regarding retirement claims
There's a lot of talk surrounding Morgan in regards to how long will he continue for England. "I won't say I'll be finished after the next World Cup as I'd be afraid I'll only creep over the line and maybe fall off," Morgan told reporters.
England face New Zealand in five-match T20I series
England face New Zealand in a five-match T20I series, starting tomorrow. The visitors have rested the likes of Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler and Jason Roy for the T20Is against the Kiwis. The Three Lions have included five uncapped players in their side. However, Morgan said it won't be easy for these players to make the cut in the World T20 squad.
England have a settled side under Morgan
2019 World Cup champions England have a settled side and one expects to see the main bunch of stars in the T20I side as well. They are certainly a solid side and the build-up for the World T20 starts now. Under Morgan, one expects the team to maintain its consistency. However, New Zealand will provide stiff competition in this series.
There aren't a lot of places up for grabs: Morgan
"There aren't a lot of places up for grabs in our best XI and probably our final 15 for 12 months down the line. But we're not only building for 12 months down the line but the following World Cup as well," said Morgan.
