Mominul Haque shines against India, slams his 13th Test century
Veteran Bangladesh batter Mominul Haque has smashed his 13th century in Test cricket. He accomplished the milestone on Day 4 of the ongoing second Test against India at Kanpur's Green Park. The left-handed batter showcased remarkable resilience despite the fall of wickets at the other end. He returned unbeaten on 107 as the Tigers were bundled out for 233 batting first.
A fine knock from Mominul
Mominul, who arrived at number three, rescued Bangladesh, who were reeling at 29/2 batting first. He added 51 runs with skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto before the latter departed. Though Mominul didn't find a substantial partner thereafter, he continued to hold one and and powered Bangladesh past 200. Mominul was unbeaten on 40 at stumps on Day 1.
