Veteran Bangladesh batter Mominul Haque has smashed his 13th century in Test cricket. He accomplished the milestone on Day 4 of the ongoing second Test against India at Kanpur's Green Park. The left-handed batter showcased remarkable resilience despite the fall of wickets at the other end. He returned unbeaten on 107 as the Tigers were bundled out for 233 batting first.

Mominul, who arrived at number three, rescued Bangladesh, who were reeling at 29/2 batting first. He added 51 runs with skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto before the latter departed. Though Mominul didn't find a substantial partner thereafter, he continued to hold one and and powered Bangladesh past 200. Mominul was unbeaten on 40 at stumps on Day 1. The second and third days were abandoned.
