Backstory
The allegations by Hasin Jahan
Shami and Jahan grabbed headlines last year, when she had posted screenshots of his messages with women as well as his photos with purported girlfriends on Facebook.
His family abused her and "even wanted to kill me," she had said.
Shami had dismissed these allegations, saying Jahan had lost her mental balance and was trying to sabotage his career.
The past
Jahan had levelled several accusations
Shami's wife Jahan accused him of domestic violence, match-fixing and adultery.
She had even alleged that the Indian cricketer fudged his age to fool the BCCI.
Prior to that, the BCCI had held Shami's contract. But after investigations, he was cleared by the cricket board and was awarded a Grade B contract.
Just days ago, the BCCI awarded Shami with Grade A contract.
