Milestone
Shami attains these feats

Only three other Indian bowlers have done this in less than 150 ODIs.
Overall, Shami is the joint-second-fastest to touch the 200-wicket mark in ODIs, after Australia's Mitchell Starc (102 matches).
Shami equaled Pakistan's Saqlain Mushtaq's feat.
Feat
100 wickets in Asia
With his first wicket in the ongoing Bangladesh game, Shami completed 100 ODI wickets in Asia.
Playing his 53rd match in Asia, Shami now owns 104 wickets at 23-plus.
In addition to 5 four-fers, he has claimed five five-wicket hauls with the best of 7/57.
As per ESPNcricinfo, 87 of his 100 wickets in Asia have come in India at 24.89.
Record
Shami sets new record for 5-wicket hauls
Apart from his wicket-taking abilities, Shami also owns the record for the most five-wicket hauls by an Indian bowler in ODIs.
He took his sixth ODI fifer during the match against Bangladesh.
No other Indian bowler has even four fifers in this format. Only Starc has claimed more fifers (8) since 2013, Shami's debut year in ODIs.
Spell
Shami's performance restricts Bangladesh in Champions Trophy
Despite losing five wickets for a mere 35 runs, Bangladesh posted a competitive total of 228/10.
The turnaround was largely due to a monumental 154-run partnership between centurion Towhid Hridoy and Jaker Ali.
While Ali was dismissed for 68, Hridoy went on to smash his maiden ODI ton (100).
Shami took two wickets with the new ball before breaking the Hridoy-Ali partnership.
