Mohammad Rizwan became the second Pakistan batter to complete 3,000 runs in T20I cricket. He accomplished the milestone with his 19th run in the second T20I against New Zealand in Rawalpindi. Rizwan has been stellar in T20Is as his sensational record states the same. Overall, he became the eighth batter to touch the 3,000-run mark. He is also the fastest to 3,000 runs.

Babar Azam (3,712) is the only Pakistan batter with more T20I runs than Rizwan. Virat Kohli (4,037), Rohit Sharma (3,974), Martin Guptill (3,531), Paul Stirling (3,491), Aaron Finch (3,120), and David Warner (3,099) are the others with 3,000 or more T20I runs. Earlier this year, Rizwan went past Jos Buttler (2,753) to become the batter with the most T20I runs as a designated wicket-keeper.
