Who is Mohammad Amir?
Mohammad Amir is a swing fast bowler from Pakistan, who made his debut in 2009. However, just two years later, he was banned for five years by the ICC for spot fixing. He returned to the team in 2016.
Amir's numbers till now
Since his debut, Amir has picked up 94 wickets from 53 test matches, 55 wickets in 36 ODI matches and 34 wickets in 31 T20 internationals. During the 2010 ICC World T20, he set up a record by picking up five wickets in one over against Australia. Three wickets were in his name, while the other two were run-outs.
Ability to swing both ways
Mohammad Amir was a find of Wasim Akram in 2007 and has very similar bowling style like the legend himself. Amir can swing the bowl both ways, has a nip and an ability to bowl longer spells without losing the speed.
