Star Australian seamer Mitchell Starc has lauded his new Delhi Capitals (DC) teammate, KL Rahul.
The 35-year-old pacer, who was recently signed for ₹11.75 crore by the Capitals in the IPL 2025 mega auction, praised Rahul's versatility and consistent performance for Team India.
"KL Rahul is like Mr. Fixit for India—he has opened the batting when asked to, batted at number six... He has played vital roles; excited to play alongside him," said Starc on Fanatics YouTube TV channel.

Rahul's stellar form and IPL journey
Rahul was signed by DC for a whopping ₹14 crore after being released by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) following the 2024 season.
The 32-year-old batter has been in phenomenal form of late, having scored 140 runs from four innings a the 2025 Champions Trophy.
He also made it to ICC's Champions Trophy 2025 team for his stellar performance.

Starc was part of the IPL-winning Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) side during the 2024 edition.
In 14 matches, he picked up 17 scalps at an average of 26.12. He also managed one two-wicket haul and the best figures of 4/33.
However, the Capitals bought him for ₹11.75 crore in last year's mega auction.
