#GamingBytes- Mojang announces new role-playing-game, Minecraft: Dungeons
Game studio Mojang has announced a new addition to the Minecraft universe, titled Minecraft: Dungeons. The announcement came at MineCon, the annual digital presentation made to Minecraft fans and the game's community. The new game is slated to release next year for PC. All about the new game
Minecraft: Dungeons is being developed in Sweden, which is Majong's home base. The game promises to be a visually enhanced version of the classic Minecraft landscape of blocks. Playable as a solo or group of four, this game will be an overhead-view dungeon crawler, which will be infested with monsters and other popular characters from the Minecraft universe.
Other exciting announcements for the gamers
In 2019, Minecraft will receive an update titled 'Village and Pillage'. The update will notably introduce new people into the game. Some of the villagers are supposed to be nice and hailing from respectable professions like butchers, clerics, cartographers, librarians, and fletchers. However, there will also be the pillagers or the not so nice people. They will be barbarians, launching attacks on the villages.
Some good news for the modders as well
We also have good news for those who enjoying modifying Minecraft. New modification tools, unveiled at MineCon, will allow for the creation of expanded worlds and mobs. There will also be new ways of controlling events of mob spawning and will introduce new animations.
