Former Australian cricketer, Aaron Finch, has backed the Mumbai Indians (MI) to do well in the 2025 IPL season.
Despite a disappointing last season, MI are still a force to reckon with, thanks to experienced campaigners like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya.
Speaking to News18, Finch believes these match-winners can turn the tide of games and lead MI to victory.

Finch emphasized on MI's squad depth saying, "I just feel everything is coming back together for the Mumbai Indians, they've just got match-winners and experience right throughout their lineup."
He mentioned players like Suryakumar Yadav (SKY), Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Bolt and Jasprit Bumrah.
"There's everything there to post a huge score if they happen to bat first," Finch added.
Young talent
Finch anticipates breakout season for young player
Finch also sounded optimistic about young batter Naman Dhir's impact on MI's 2025 campaign.
Dhir, who has featured in seven IPL games, is known for his explosive batting.
"I think it's somebody like Naman Dhir... he's striking at 177," Finch said.
"The young Indian players in particular are so fearless now. They're prepared to take it on from ball one."
