EA Sports has announced the top 10 players on FIFA 19. For the first time, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have received equal rating points. Messi and Ronaldo are modern day legends and they have dominated football for years. Both of them have won 5 Ballon d'Ors each. However, this is the first time they are sharing the top spot in the video game.

The top 10 footballers in FIFA 19 are- Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Modric, De Bruyne, Hazard, Ramos, Suarez, De Gea and Kroos. Notably, Lewandowski, Higuain, and Neuer, who were in the top 10 in the previous edition, have not been able to make the cut.

Ronaldo maintains his 94 rating, the same as FIFA 18. His phenomenal performance at the club level, coupled with the big money move to Juventus, proves his hunger for more silverware. He received a 90 'Pace' rating for his burning speed, a 90 'Dribbling', which is debatable. His 93 'Shooting' is justified, given his finishes. Notably, he also stars on the FIFA 19 cover.

Messi was rated 93 in FIFA 18, a point behind Ronaldo. His performance on the pitch has proved otherwise. One of the greatest players the world has ever seen, he has a 96 'Dribbling' rating, proof of his flawless technique. Messi's brilliance, as a playmaker, is showcased by the 88 'Passing' rating along with 91 'Shooting', expect to blaze the game with the genius.
Sorry lads, nothing is 'coming' home
English players have not fared well in FIFA 19 ratings. Spurs star striker Harry Kane is at 17th place with a rating of 89. Manchester City's winger, Sterling, is the other Englishman in the top 100. He occupies 97th place and is rated 85.
