France footballer, Kylian Mbappe, has revealed that he played the FIFA World Cup 2018 semi-final and final with a back injury. The youngster, who impressed one and all, was carrying a back injury in his side's win against Belgium and Croatia. The management hid his injury from the opponents to avoid further issues. Mbappe scored in finale despite carrying injury
Mbappe, who lit Russia with four goals for the World Cup winning team, was also adjudged the Young Player of the Tournament. Despite carrying the injury, Mbappe scored against Croatia in his side's 4-2 win. He stated that the most important thing was not to let the opponents find out about the same. He added that the management kept it hidden from the opponents.
Mbappe had an excellent World Cup
The 19-year-old player announced himself against Argentina, when he scored a brace in a 4-2 victory in the Round of 16. His electric pace, dribbling capabilities and link-up play with Antoine Griezmann upfront was at another level. The PSG star had a total of 8 attempts, with seven being on target. He also made 10 successful dribbles into the penalty area.
