Watch: When a pizza delivery interrupted Sanju Samson's superb knock
Sanju Samson showed his intent in match number eight of the Indian Premier League 2019. The promising right-handed batsman smashed this season's maiden IPL ton against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday. Interestingly, while batting on 44 during Rajasthan's innings, Sanju's play was interrupted as a pizza delivery stopped him ahead of facing a delivery. Here are the details of this bizarre incident.
What happened in the match between SRH and RR?
Samson had to face an unlikely situation. A pizza delivery boy was walking in front of the sight screen that halted the play. Samson was smiling as he signalled the person to move out. Many fans often pass the sight screen, but this was rare.

Sunrisers Hyderabad sealed a stunning victory against the Royals, which faced a second successive loss in IPL 2019. Batting first, Samson's heroics saw RR post 198/2. In reply, David Warner (69) and Jonny Bairstow (45) responded with a bang. Their efforts helped SRH stay in the game, before Rashid Khan and Yusuf Pathan won the match with one over to spare.
