How did Mane get injured in the first place?
Mane broke the thumb of his left finger while training for Senegal's match against Sudan. He might miss the international match and also the Premier League clash against Huddersfield. Mohamed Salah is suffering from a muscle injury
During Egypt's African qualifiers match against Swaziland, Mohamed Salah picked up a muscle injury which forced him to leave the match midway. This has left fans of Liverpool fuming with anger and some have even called this a joke. However, the Egyptian Football Association has released a statement saying that Salah has been allowed to leave for Liverpool after the injury.
Virgil van Dijk is back at Liverpool as well
Virgil van Dijk had suffered a rib injury against Southampton during Liverpool's EPL clash but still played a full 90 minutes against Germany. He is now back at his club and nursing his injury to get back to the field soon.
