Manchester City won hearts, on Saturday, when they allowed their oldest ever fan to lead the side out against Fulham in the Premier League fixture. The role of a mascot is generally filled up by young kids, but City went a different route to honor two of their oldest supporters. City won the match 3-0. Here's more on the same.
102-year-old Vera has been a ticket-holder since 85 years
The players headed out with 102-year-old Vera Cohen, who was seen holding David Silva's hand. Her sister, 97-year-old Olga Halo, was alongside Fernandinho. Vera has been a season ticket-holder since 85 years now and attends City's every home game in Manchester with her sister. She is the oldest mascot the Premier League has ever seen.

Interestingly, Vera isn't the oldest mascot in the history of English club football. Last season, second-tier Preston gave an opportunity to 105-year-old Bernard Jones to lead the side out in one of their league matches.
City thrash Fulham at home to keep unbeaten start going
Manchester City didn't disappoint Vera and her sister as the champions rode on a 3-0 win against Fulham. Sane, Sterling and Silva were all on target for Pep Guardiola's men. City are unbeaten in the 2018-19 campaign and are two points behind leaders Chelsea and second placed Liverpool. The club hosts Lyon in a crucial Champions League group stage encounter this Wednesday.
