Lukaku praises Juventus, hints at future in Italy
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, recently, gave an interview where he was all praises for Juventus and said that he wants to play in Italy at some point of time. Lukaku said that Juventus are among the top two or three teams in Europe, and with the kind of talent they have, Juventus get stronger every year. Manchester United face Juventus on October 24.
Lukaku's brace helped Belgium defeat Switzerland
During Belgium's UEFA Nations League match against Switzerland, Lukaku netted in twice to secure the win. Lukaku hasn't been able to find the back of the net with Manchester United in the last few matches but returned to scoring with his national squad. He is Belgium's all-time highest goal-scorer, with 45 goals scored in 78 international appearances.
Lukaku's words of praise for Juve's players
Lukaku praised Douglas Costa, Dybala, and Ronaldo, also saying, "Juventus have a great project in place and they just keep going. Every year they try to get stronger." When asked about moving to the Serie A, Lukaku replied, "Why not? I hope so." However, he did not forget to add that Manchester United wish to finish at the top of their UCL group table.
Juventus are the top of the group table
Manchester United and Juventus have been drawn in the same Champions League group this term. While United have managed to collect four points from two matches, Juventus won both matches and are sitting at the top of the table. The two clubs will meet on October 24 and November 8 and these fixtures will be decisive in determining the table-toppers.
