Griezmann for €100 million is a bargain claims team-mate
Atletico Madrid's left back Filipe Luis has voiced his concern that the club might be undervaluing Antoine Griezmann. As per Luis, €100 million buyout clause of Antoine Griezmann is a bargain for any club. Griezmann is reportedly keen on moving from Atletico. Further, he wants his future to be resolved before the start of the FIFA World Cup.
Barcelona keen on Griezmann
Griezmann is one of the best forwards in the world and there are plenty of suitors for his signature. Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona are among the clubs which are keen on adding the Frenchman to their forward line. For now, Barcelona are the front-runners in the race. They could replace Dembele or the ageing Suarez with Griezmann.
Luis claims Atletico should demand more for Griezmann
"Griezmann is cheap, for sure, at 100 million euros in this market. It will seem even cheaper if he plays well in the final. That is the reality, but neither Griezmann nor the rest of us, are thinking about this." Filipe said.
Griezmann could lead Atletico to Europa glory
Antoine Griezmann played a huge role to lead Atletico Madrid to the finals of the Europa League. The striker scored a late equalizer against Arsenal to help his side, who were a man down, to salvage a draw. He could now leave Atletico after leading them to Europa League glory. Thus would be his first major trophy since joining the club in 2014.
One of the best forwards in the world
Griezmann has scored 30 goals in 51 games this season. He will be a valuable addition to any side in the world. The Frenchman joined Atletico in 2014 from Real Sociedad at a bargain price of €26.9 million and has scored 79 goals in 141 appearances for the club. He even finished 3rd in the Ballon d'Or race in 2016.
