IPL 2025: MI replace injured Lizaad Williams with Corbin Bosch
What's the story
Mumbai Indians have signed South African bowling all-rounder Corbin Bosch as a replacement for his compatriot Lizaad Williams.
The latter will miss the upcoming IPL 2025 due to a knee injury.
This isn't Bosch's first IPL stint; he was previously signed by Rajasthan Royals as a net bowler and later as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile.
Bosch has been signed for his base price of โน75 lakh.

Bosch's journey in SA20 and IPL
Bosch, who went unsold in the mega auction, has been on a roll in the SA20 league.
He represented MI Cape Town this year, scalping 11 wickets in eight games with phenomenal figures of 4/19 against Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
Despite his previous association with Rajasthan Royals and MI Cape Town, he is yet to make an appearance in the IPL.

Bosch's international debut and Champions Trophy inclusion
Bosch made his Test debut in the Boxing Day fixture of 2024 against Pakistan in Centurion, days after his ODI debut against the same team in Johannesburg.
He was also included as a replacement for injured Anrich Nortje in South Africa's squad for the Champions Trophy.
His impressive performance at the domestic level has earned him recognition on an international scale.

Before making his international debut, Bosch was also a member of the South Africa U-19 team that lifted the 2014 World Cup.
