    The result means Arne Slot's perfect start as Reds boss ended.

    Former Chelsea player Hudson-Odoi cut in from the left and curled an inch-perfect shot into the far bottom corner from Anthony Elanga's assist in the 72nd minute.

    Forest went on to create more after the break. Morgan Gibbs-White and Elanga went on to shoot off target before Hudson-Odoi's screamer. This was the first goal Liverpool conceded this season.

    The Reds failed to create many clear chances and hence couldn't find an equalizer.

    Notably, Elanga almost doubled Forest's lead late on but he shot straight at goalkeeper Alisson.
