Lille to play two qualifying rounds for UCL group stage
Lille will need to play two qualifying rounds to get into the Champions League group stage next season. They had reached the last 16 of the competition in 2022.
Clermont Foot and Lorient get relegated
Clermont Foot finished bottom of the pile and got relegated alongside 17th-placed Lorient. Clermont managed just five wins in addition to 10 draws and 19 defeats. They secured just 25 points. Lorient picked up seven wins, eight draws and 19 defeats to claim 29 points. Both sides will play their trade in Ligue 2 next season.
Metz to feature in relegation playoffs
16th-placed Metz will feature in the Ligue 1 relegation/promotion playoffs which is an annual fixture in French football contested by the 3rd-bottom team in Ligue 1 and the winner of the Ligue 2 promotion playoffs. Metz claimed 29 points (W8 D5 L21).

PSG's Kylian Mbappe wins Golden Boot, makes history
Kylian Mbappe, who is set to join Real Madrid, won the Golden Boot award. The Frenchman scored 27 goals from 29 appearances. Mbappe made history by winning his sixth Ligue 1 Golden Boot, more than any player ever. Mbappe surpassed Jean-Pierre Papin, Delio Onnis, and Carlos Bianchi (5 wins each). Notably, Mbappe has won all six Golden Boots in succession (2018-19 to 2023-24).
Players with the most assists
A total of four players finished with eight assists each. They are Lille's Angel Gomes, PSG's Ousmane Dembele, Marseille's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Brest's Romain Del Castillo. Meanwhile, Mbappe managed seven assists.
Major player stats
Mbappe was directly involved in most goals (34). Aubameyang was the only other player to be involved in 25-plus goals (G17 A8). Jonathan David of Lille scored 19 goals (A4) alongside Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette (G19 A2). Goncalo Ramos was PSG's only other player with 10-plus goals (G11 A1).
