    Lewandowski'>Robert Lewandowski has criticized the Bayern Munich management for not standing by him after he failed to deliver in 2017/18 UCL semi-final against Real Madrid.

    Lewandowski has been a great asset to Bayern since they bought him from Dortmund.

    The comments were made after he scored four times in their first two competitive clashes.

    The Polish international pointed out that everyone was criticizing him in April and May and he felt the club didn't protect him.

    He further said that the club bosses didn't speak out in his defense and that he felt alone during that period at Munich.

    However, the goal machine did add that the fans were always there by his side.

    Lewandowski has scored a stunning 106 goals in his 126 appearances for Bayern Munich since joining the club in 2014.

    He was instrumental in the club's last four Bundesliga titles since his arrival.

    Lewandowski has scored 100 goals in record time as a foreign player at the club.

    Notably, he once managed to net in 5 goals under nine minutes.

    After the fallout, the Polish captain had said that he wanted to leave the club.

    Rumors regarding his possible move to either Manchester United or Real Madrid had stared to circulate.

    However, Bayern firmly stood their ground and said that they would not part ways with their star forward.

    Lewandowski, too, changed his stance after receiving overwhelming support from fans.
