Kohli recently became the first Indian to touch the 12,000-run mark in T20 cricket. Notably, he is one of only three men with over 100 fifty-plus scores in the format. His tally includes nine tons. He is only behind Chris Gayle and David Warner, each of whom own 110 such scores. Among Indians, Rohit Sharma follows Kohli with 82 fifty-plus T20 scores.
Only Indian with a 40+ average
Kohli remains the only Indian with a 40+ average in T20 cricket (among batters with minimum 8,000 runs). Kohli has an average of 41.92 in T20s. Overall, he is only behind Pakistan's Babar Azam, who averages 44.06 in the format.

Kohli has been brilliant for India in T20 World Cups. He is the highest run-scorer in the tournament with 1,141 runs at an incredible 81.50. Kohli is the only player with more than 10 fifty-plus scores in T20 World Cup history. He owns 14 half-centuries in this regard. Gayle and Rohit have nine such scores in the tournament.
