Shikhar Dhawan holds the record for the fastest Indian player to reach 3,000 ODI runs by innings.
According to ESPNcricinfo, Dhawan reached the feat in 72 innings since his debut in 2010. He attained the milestone with a brilliant ton against Australia in 2016.
Meanwhile, he also smashed nine tons in these 72 innings. Overall, he retired with 6,793 runs across 167 ODIs.

75 - Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli, who recently surpassed the 14,000 ODI runs mark, stands second on this list.
Kohli became the second-fastest Indian to cross the 3,000 ODI runs mark having acheived the same in 75 innings.
The batter managed the feat in a match against Sri Lanka during the 2012 Commonwealth Bank series in Adelaide.
Overall, he now owns 14,180 runs at 58.11 across 301 ODIs.

As mentioned, the Bengaluru-born wicketkeeper-batter became the third-fastest Indian to breach the 3,000 ODI runs mark.
Rahul came into the match against the Aussies, requiring just 33 runs to reach the landmark. Meanwhile, he also went past 5,000 runs in List A cricket with his 23rd run.
