Lucknow Super Giants missed out on a playoff berth in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL). LSG finished the season with seven wins and seven defeats from 14 matches. Rahul only behind Warner and Kohli

Rahul now owns 500-plus IPL runs in a season on six occasions (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024). Virat Kohli and David Warner own the record for scoring 500-plus runs in a campaign on most occasions (7).
Highest run-getter versus MI
Rahul also became the highest run-scorer versus Mumbai Indians in IPL history. The LSG captain accomplished the mark during his 55-run stay in Match 67 I at the Wankhede. 4,500 IPL runs for Rahul
During the game against Rajasthan Royals, Rahul became the 12th batter to complete 4,500 runs in IPL history. Rahul, who averages 45.46 in the tournament, now owns 4,683 runs. His strike rate reads 134.60. He now owns 41 fifty-plus scores, including four tons. Notably, he owns the highest average among batters with 1,100 IPL runs.
5th opening batter with this milestone
As per ESPNcricinfo, Rahul became the fifth batter in IPL history to surpass 4,000 runs as an opening batter. Rahul owns 4,183 runs from 99 matches at 48.63. He has struck 35 fifties and four centuries as an opener. Shikhar Dhawan (6,362), David Warner (5,910) and Chris Gayle (4,480), and Virat Kohli (4,319) are the ones ahead of Rahul in this regard.
