As per ESPNcricinfo, Rahul has tallied 867 runs across 16 games versus MI at a sensational average of 86.70. His strike rate reads 135.89 as the tally includes three tons besides five fifties. He is the only batter with three tons against an opponent in IPL. Meanwhile, Rahul needs 35 runs to displace Shikhar Dhawan (901) as the highest run-getter versus MI in IPL.

Rahul's maiden ton versus MI came in 2019 while playing for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings). He slammed an unbeaten 64-ball 100* albeit in a losing cause. Earlier in the season, Rahul became the first batter to complete 1,000 runs for LSG in the IPL. He owns 1,268 runs across 33 games for the franchise and averages 43.72 (100s: 2, 50s: 9). The opener made 616 runs at 51.33 in his maiden season with the Super Giants in IPL 2022. He could only manage 273 runs at 34.25 last year.
