Former KKR all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was the star player in this match. He picked two crucial wickets of Chris Lynn (49) and Sunil Narine (9) as he ended his 4-over spell with figures of 2/21. While batting, he shared a vital 59-run stand with skipper Kane Williamson that helped SRH get the momentum. Shakib scored 27 off 21 balls.
Andre Russell is sinner of the day
Not a good day for Russell at the Eden against SRH. KKR needed his exploits in the middle, but Russell played a loose shot and got dismissed. Prior to that he had hit a six. He ended up scoring nine runs off five deliveries. While bowling he was clobbered for runs and gave away 39 runs in his 3 overs.
