New Zealand cricket team posted their best total in an innings in Test cricket and a lot of credit goes to skipper Kane Williamson for playing a massive role.
Williamson scored a double ton as the Kiwis smashed 715/6 in the first Test match against Bangladesh.
The Tigers ended Day three at 174/4 in their second innings.

Williamson first Kiwi batsman to smash 20 career Test tons
Williamson notched his 20th career Test ton and became the first Kiwi batsman to do so in the history of the game.
The right-handed batsman also surpassed the 6,000-run mark in Test cricket in just his 71st match.
He also went past Sir Richie Richardson (5,949 runs) with this special feat.
Williamson also became the fourth Kiwi batsman to get past 6,000 Test runs.

Williamson achieves a host of records against Bangladesh
Williamson (200*) also notched his maiden double ton and a highest Test score versus Bangladesh.
This was also his third career Test ton against the Asian side.
He became only the second Kiwi to hit a double century against the Tigers after Stephen Fleming.
Williamson is also the highest Test run-scorer for the Kiwis against Bangladesh (609).

NZ script 700-plus runs for the first time
New Zealand went past the 700-run mark for the very first time in Test cricket.
Their previous highest was 690 versus Pakistan in 2014.
Their 715/6 is also the 17th highest innings total by a team in Tests.
New Zealand's previous highest Test score against Bangladesh was 553/7 in 2010.

Bangladesh, who were dismissed for 234 in the first innings, are six wickets away from going down in the Test series.

Tamim Iqbal (74) continued from where he left off in the first innings (126).
He notched his seventh career fifty and a maiden ton against NZ in Test cricket.
He now has 830 runs.
