"I was next to Gayle as well. Both of us were tearing up. We tried to not let water fall out. It was a very touching moment. Knowing that you're never gonna see this guy in the park again playing cricket," Edwards CricTracker.

Sachin Tendulkar' 200th Test match was celebrated widely in India as the hosts took on West Indies, at his home ground Wankhede. It was rather a one-sided affair with the visitors getting trounced by an innings and 126 runs. Although Rohit Sharma slammed a blistering ton, Tendulkar's farewell knock grabbed the eyeballs. Edwards revealed how Tendulkar motivated him to keep working hard amid tough times. "When I was having a harder time in England, I remember, in Edgbaston, he had sent me a text message," he added. "He gave me great confidence to understand that even the best go through tough times like these. It's no problem, just keep working."
