Two deliveries later, he got Sarkar with a short ball. He came back later to get the last two Bangladesh wickets with a cutter and the knuckle ball.

Boult has racked up 168 wickets in 91 ODI matches at an average of 24.85. He is the seventh-highest wicket-taker for New Zealand in ODIs. He has now taken eight four-wicket hauls, besides having five fifers as well with a best of 7/34. Out of his 168 scalps, 115 have come at home. As per Opta, Boult's figures of 4/27 for the Blackcaps on Saturday against Bangladesh marked his third haul of 4+ wickets in the format at University Oval; no other player has achieved the feat more than once at the Dunedin venue.
