Kedar thanks CSK
Have CSK taken a risk by retaining Jadhav?
Kedar Jadhav is yet to see himself flourish in Indian Premier League. He has represented a number of teams in the IPL since his debut in 2010. He had a decent campaign in 2017 which helped him seal a move to Chennai Super Kings in IPL 11. CSK bought him for Rs. 7.8 crore last year. But he got injured after playing the opener.
Injuries marred Kedar's progression in 2018
The player was ruled out of IPL 2018 after suffering a hamstring injury against Mumbai Indians in the opener. The Indian cricketer is enduring a turbulent year in 2018. After recovering from the injury, Jadhav made a comeback to the national team for the Asia Cup, but faced hamstring issues during the tournament. He made a return against West Indies recently.
CSK will hope Kedar stays fit in IPL 12
The 33-year-old is no doubt a handy player and MS Dhoni would want him to be fit for the 2019 campaign. Kedar can turn a match in his side's favor at crucial junctures. CSK will also hope their investment in him pays off.
