Kate Cross expressed her disappointment over her withdrawal from the Women's Premier League.
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women player was retained Cross ahead of the WPL auction in December.
Cross took to Instagram to express her disappointment over her withdrawal from the WPL.
She wrote, "My decision to withdraw from the WPL was a difficult one, but I need to take the time to rehab my injury fully and prioritize my mental and physical well-being ahead of a big summer."

Cross pledges her support for RCB
Even in her absence, Cross pledged her support for RCB in their upcoming matches.
"I'm gutted to be missing my time with RCB this year but wish @smriti_mandhana and the girls all the luck in defending the trophy! I'll be supporting everyone from back home," the player stated.
Tournament details
WPL 2025 to kick off on February 14
The third edition of the WPL will begin on February 14 with matches spread across four cities- Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai.
Gujarat Giants will take on RCB in Vadodara in the opening match.
The city will host six matches before the tournament shifts to Bengaluru where RCB will take on Mumbai Indians at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on February 21.

33-year-old Englishwoman, Cross, hasn't played a single game in the WPL. However, in Women's T20Is, she owns 14 wickets from 18 matches at 30.50. Her best performance is 2/18.
