Former New Zealand cricket team skipper Kane Williamson has unlocked another major milestone.
With his fourth run in the ongoing 2025 ICC Champions Trophy game against Bangladesh, he completed 1,500 runs in neutral ODIs.
Williamson became just the seventh Kiwi batter to accomplish this landmark.
However, he was dismissed for 5(4) in the match being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Playing his 29th game in neutral ODIs, Williamson has raced past 1,500 runs. His tally includes seven fifties besides five tons.
As per ESPNcricinfo, Nathan Astle (7) is the only other NZ batter with more hundreds in this regard.
While Williamson averages over 75 in neutral venues, no other batter with 1,500-plus runs has a 64-plus average in these games.
Around 380 of his runs have come in UAE at 60-plus.

Over 7,000 runs in ODIs
Earlier this month, Williamson became the second-fastest to score 7,000 runs in ODI history, accomplishing the milestone in just 159 innings.
He has now raced past 7,040 runs across 170 ODIs at an average of 48-plus. His tally includes 14 tons and 46 fifties.
Over 500 of his runs have come against the Tigers at 60-plus (50s: 4, 100: 1).
He has completed 350 runs in the Champions Trophy at a 50-plus average.
