Harry Kane to lead England in Russia
What's the story
Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane has been named England's captain for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The 24-year-old beat the likes of Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and Tottenham team-mate Eric Dier to win the captain's armband.
He first captained England in the qualifier against Scotland last June.
Till now, he has led the Three Lions on 3 occasions.

Do you know?
Kane has had a prolific season
The mercurial striker, Harry Kane has netted 41 goals in 48 appearances for Spurs this season. Further he has 12 goals in 23 appearances for the Three Lions. He had also won Golden Boot in 2015/16 and 2016/17 but this year Mo Salah beat him.

Can Kane inspire the Three Lions to glory?
Despite his limited experience as a leader, the two-time Premier League golden boot winner can take inspiration from his vice-captaincy role at Tottenham.
England might boast the best football league in the world, but they have won the World Cup just once.
They will be hoping Kane will inspire this young squad to another victory.
