He reached the milestone with his first wicket against Mumbai Indians in Match 33 of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) in Chandigarh. Over 100 of his scalps have come in the IPL. Rabada dismissed MI opener Ishan Kishan for his 250th T20 scalp. He finished with figures worth 1/42 from four overs . In 197 T20 matches, he has 250 scalps at 23.40. Rabada's tally includes seven four-wicket hauls with 4/21 being his best scores. 58 of his scalps have come in 56 T20Is for South Africa as his economy in this regard is 8.61.
