2nd Test: WI pacer Jayden Seales floors SA with 6/61
West Indies pacer Jayden Seales produced a fine bowling display against South Africa in the 2nd Test match at Providence Stadium in Guyana. Seales, who took three wickets in the first innings, played a key role in taking figures worth 6/61 in SA's second innings. SA managed 246 in their second innings. Notably, SA resumed Day 3 on 223/5 before being bowled out.
A superb 6-wicket haul for Seales
On Day 2, Seales broke a superb opening stand of 79 runs by dismissing Tony de Zorzi (39). From 120/1, SA were reduced to 134/4. Seales got the key wickets of Tristan Stubbs and David Bedingham. Kyle Verreynne and Wiaan Mulder saw out the day with a superb unbeaten stand. On Day 3, Seales dismissed Verreynne before sending Kagiso Rabada and Nandre Burger back.

Seales now owns the joint-2nd-best figures by a West Indies bowler at home against South Africa. Curtly Ambrose leads the way with 6-34, Bridgetown (1992). Courtney Walsh had claimed 6/61 in Port of Spain (2001). Seales has now equalled Walsh.
