India vs England: Ravindra Jadeja ruled out of Test series
What's the story
Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the ongoing four-match Test series against England.
Jadeja had earlier dislocated his thumb during the Sydney Test against Australia and could not take part in the fourth Test in Brisbane.
He was sent to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for 'further management of his injury' after consultation with a hand specialist in Sydney.
Return
Jadeja's return was expected by the management
Earlier, the BCCI had announced the squad for the first two Tests and it was expected that Jadeja might make a return for the third and fourth Test matches respectively.
Reports claimed that Jadeja would have gone to Ahmedabad early for the mandatory quarantine to be ready to join the full squad.

First Test
India missed Jadeja in the first Test against England
India missed the services of Jadeja in the recently concluded first Test against England in Chennai.
The hosts lost the match by 227 runs and Jadeja's exploits would have served India well.
