Felt like Stuart Broad: Chahal on Yuvraj's three successive sixes
Mumbai Indians edged past Royal Challengers Bangalore in a last-ball thriller in match number seven of the Indian Premier League 2019 season. RCB fell short by six runs in a closely fought battle. As MI posted 187/8, we saw glimpses of vintage Yuvraj Singh. Yuvi smashed three consecutive maximums in one over of Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal opened up how he felt about Yuvraj's carnage.
Yuvi smashed three maximums, before Chahal got him
Veteran Yuvraj (23) struck wrist-spinner Chahal for consecutive sixes in the 14th over of MI's innings. Yuvraj belted the Indian spinner over square-leg and long-on to keep the momentum. Chahal ultimately had him in the fourth ball, when Yuvi tried to smash another long six.
Chahal on Yuvi's onslaught against him
"When he [Yuvraj] hit three sixes, I felt like Stuart Broad. You know he is a legendary batsman and I backed myself. I had to bowl a bit up, might be a chance to get him out because it is a smaller ground." Chahal said.
The reason behind Chahal's reference
On September 19, 2007, Yuvraj had blasted England's fast bowler Stuart Broad in the ICC World T20 match in Durban. He smashed six consecutive sixes off Broad and ended up managing a 16-ball 58. He hit seven sixes in total, as India went on to get 218 runs in that match. England batted well but they managed only 200 runs to lose the encounter.

Yuvraj's presence has been beneficial for MI: Our take
Yuvraj has had a decent start in IPL 2019. The southpaw scored a fifty in the first game for Mumbai against Delhi Capitals. He then followed it up with a brisk cameo against RCB. Yuvraj's presence has allowed Rohit Sharma to bat atop and this has bolstered MI. Yuvraj needs consistent performances to stand strong and help MI reach the playoffs.
