Shikhar Dhawan is another opener who fares well against spin in the cash-rich league. Although Dhawan's strike rate is on the lower side (124.06), he has racked up 2,248 runs in this regard. The left-handed batter averages 34.06 against spinners. Dhawan has been dismissed on 66 occasions by spinners in the IPL. His tally also has 71 sixes.
Rohit Sharma: 2,196 runs
Dhawan's long-time opening partner Rohit Sharma occupies the fourth spot on this list.
